Our decision to choose the Lindon House for our wedding was quick and easy after we met with Don and Linda as we found them to be very friendly and helpful, on top of their property being spectacular. We met with them several times before our wedding and they were as excited as we were planning our big day.

Don and Linda have hosted many events, which really helped us, as we did all our own planning, however they saw details we had missed. They left no detail out in ensuring our day was just right.

We were arranging a Celebration-of-Life memorial event after the passing of my wife’s father, we were tender and grieving, and we had a very limited time to handle all the details. Don and Linda welcomed us to Lindon House, and we felt peaceful and cared for from the very start of our time with them. Don and Linda showed us through their venue and the outdoor grounds, and pointed out various spaces that could be used for different parts of our gathering. When we asked questions like, “What about such and such?” they had answers that solved our dilemmas. When we said we wanted to do a photo-montage memory video, they showed us the built-in equipment they already had to accommodate such requests. When we said we’d have family and friends bringing food and beverages at the last minute, they showed us their kitchen facilities and helped us plan out spaces that would work well for the layout of food. When we said we wanted to have live music, they helped us find an area in which it would work well for the musicians to set up.

On the day of the memorial, Don and Linda served our family and friends with elegance and care: when we needed them they were there, and when we were focused on friends and family, Don and Linda worked quietly in the background to make sure everyone had everything they needed. It’s clear from looking at the pictures on the Lindon House website or from touring their grounds that this is an amazing venue. Lindon House is beautiful, elegant, welcoming, well laid out, warm… the descriptions cannot actually do justice to the reality. Our experience, though, showed us that on top of the elegance and warmth of the venue, it’s the beauty and graciousness of Don and Linda themselves that truly helped make our Celebration-of-Life, in both the planning stage and at the event itself, so memorable and meaningful.”

“The following is a letter of recommendation for the exceptional services provided by The Lindon House as our Wedding Coordinators as well as our Venue for our wedding. A wedding should be known as the most memorable time of two people’s lives, and for us on September 12th, 2015 it was, with the help and guidance of Don and Linda, the Venue hosts and owners. Don and Linda took the time and efforts to find and contact our florist, caterer, hair and make up artists and musicians. This made our day and planning a lot easier as they had already worked with these vendors which they knew and were highly recommended. These were the details that made this day so special for us. Their organizational skills were impeccable, which took a lot of pressure and stress off of us when there were other numerous other matters to be tended to. Don and Linda took the time to meet with us on numerous occasions before the wedding, and making themselves available day or night without hesitation. In addition, my “bridal party” stayed the night before the wedding in the house. This made getting ready wonderful and relaxed as we could have all our make up and hair done in the house. We also were given a continental breakfast and champagne to start our morning.

The venue was so amazing and gave our wedding such an intimate feel as it was a beautiful, romantic and unique setting. We had our ceremony in the enormous backyard which made all our our guests hearts swoon as well as ours. The attention to detail was so great and it all looked so magical. This was the perfect place for our small and intimate wedding and we highly recommend the Lindon House for any future party, wedding, or even just to have a nice relaxing stay in Kelowna. “There are not enough kind words to express how we all felt after spending a full day with you both, in your lovely unique venue. Our brokers were so very pleased with absolutely everything, and that is not an easy task to accomplish.

Once upon a day, I resorted to the internet and found the perfect looking venue for my first official function in Kelowna. From the first response to my email request, to my telephone conversations with both Linda and Don, they handled everything for me. From the menus, to the caterers and servers. We had 30 attendees, starting with a yummy hot breakfast, a delicious plated lunch followed by appetizers and wine to bring in the cheer!
